Got the 6600 recently along with the Bluetooth Dongle. When transferring files to my phone using the XTNDConnect Blue Manager it always goes straight to my message inbox on the phones internal memory and then askes me which memory I would like to save it to after I open it. So if the file is larger then say 4mb it cant store it.
I have a 256 mb mmc card installed on my phone and was wondering how I could get the XTNDConnect Blue Manager to store files Directly on this memory card instead. Please do not say use the Nokia Suite Manager as it doesnt detect my bluetooth at all, the MROUTER shows all the com ports as 'Not Connected' and when I click on the 'Infrared' I get the message.' It is not possible to enable that port, as it may be in use by another application' I can't think what. The only application that uses the bluetooth is the XTND and I turn that of beforehand. Thanks In Advance. I also have a bluetooth dongle that uses this software. You can get PC suite to detect your 6600 but my problem now is that whenever i try to send a file to the phone it takes ages and then says sending failed (or something like that).

O javemt figured out how to fix this yet, but im going to be trying installing the usb 100 drivers as listed in some other posts on this topic and also just try installing with original XP bluetooth drivers. If none of those work, id suggest finding a file transfer application that allows you to transfer directly to mmc. I havent seen any yet, but im sure a google search might be able to help you out in that department. Sorry im not much help.
Just another frustrated consumer. Also I just read another post called 6600 USB, RayMan posted this you might be able to try it.
Install Bluetooth Driver Windows 10
There are three ways of doing this: 1: the one you mentioned- card reader 2: connect through Bluetooth(BT) or Infrared (IR) to the pc, set the messaging memory to be on the MMC and transfer. In this way, files will appear in your inbox, but the inbox will be on your MMC,so you can transfer as much as your MMC is capable of storing. 3:connect through BT or IR and transfer directly to your MMC using the PC Suite or FExplorer. Cheers RayGun You could try the option of setting your message memory to the memory card. HOWEVER, i have read on the forums somewhere that this can be dangerous and corrupt your messaging somehow. Symptoms ive heard are no message alert sound happens when you receive a message and stuff like that.
Its an option at least though. Got the 6600 recently along with the Bluetooth Dongle. Thanks In Advance. Hi, i use the same dongle that you have and have the same problem. Apparently, i have minimal occurences of the problem after installing the right driver for my device which y210. Now, i also had problem when using the the 6600 pc suite but as i found out, when i restarted the phone i can connect to my pc using the pc suite.
I also followed the instructions that came with xtend software to connect to a nokia 3650. Later as i used my device, what i found was everytime my phone won't connect to the pc suite, i do not need to restart. Instead, i just erase the paired devices on my phone and reconnect using the pc suite.
And viooooallla. My connection is back. If you still have problems, maybe i can help. And one more thing, i use the software efile manager by epoc to transfer files directly into my memory card, not in the inbox, i could browse to the directories in my memory card. And hope this helps. Hope to here from you soon.
